In this
post we will learn to apply shadow:
Step
1: Choose the right colour
- The type of shade with more intense colour is powder, but it is also more difficult to control because some particles may fall into the eyes, that is, one must be very careful.
- Since the shadows cream are easier to apply, but dries faster than the dust. The best texture for beginners is dust.
- Do not need to have dozens of colours. Three shades of the same colour palette are enough. To create several different looks are needed lighter shades, medium and dark. If they want a more discreet makeup, choose three neutral shades. For example, shades of brown and grey, or any colour that suits your style and taste.
Step 2:
Choosing the right brush.
- While it is perfectly possible to pass shadow with the fingertips, they tend to be too big and can be full of natural skin oils, making it difficult to apply. Invest in quality brushes can facilitate and optimize shadow application.
- Use the brush flat to spread the shade across the lid. The brush is the best tool to get enough shade and spread it evenly over the entire eyelid. A brush with soft bristles or rounded is used in the eyelid fold and to mix tones. It is required to obtain a smooth colour graduation ranging from lashes to brows. Bet on a soft brush to apply the shadow near the lash line. It should be small and slim enough to be worked much in line with the upper lash line and in the lower, and reach the inner corner of the eyes.
Step 3:
Apply the shadow correctly.
- When applying the shadow for the first time, take a few taps, instead of rubbing the brush. By doing that helps the shadow to set up better on the eyelids, giving a more consistent look. Instead of moving the brush forward and back through the eye in quick movements, take short, slow strokes that go towards the place where it will blend the tones. Never t move with your hand quickly when you're putting the shadow. Unless you're going on an accent colour, never passes the entire shadow to the brow because the effect is too loaded.
Step 4:
Pass the makeup to the face as usual.
- The eye make-up should be the last step. Pass the corrective, the base, blush or bronzing powder and defining the eyebrows before moving shadow. Spend a primer for eyes to help shadow last all day. Otherwise the natural oils from your skin will make the colour melt and concentrate on the eyelid fold. Never mascara passes before passing the shade unless you're doing a smoky effect. Otherwise, mascara and eye liner should be passed after the shade. And today is all about, I still have, I hope you enjoyed.
Kisses and until next post...
